Leiths Opens New Technical Facility at Bluehill Quarry

The new facility replaces the Parkmore Technical Facility, which has become outdated and no longer fit for purpose. Designed to support Leiths’ continued growth and commitment to quality, the Bluehill Technical Facility features state-of-the-art equipment for the testing of concrete, asphalt, aggregates and agricultural limestone.

The purpose-built facility has been carefully designed to be a more spacious and efficient environment, helping to enhance productivity and streamline daily operations. Technical Services extends a special thanks to colleagues from other parts of the business including Civils, Bluehill Quarry, Fabrication and Purchasing for their contribution and continued support throughout the construction process.

The Bluehill Technical Facility will operate under UKAS accreditation, in line with all other Leiths technical facilities, ensuring the highest standards of testing and compliance are maintained.
