Quality

Quality is the foundation of everything we do; we are built on it. The Leiths standard of quality is both our pride and promise, a standard that has been shaped, earnt, and proven over decades of service. Quality means a lot you, and it means a lot to us. 

That’s why our materials are analysed extensively by our technical laboratories for consistency and quality, our fleet and plant are thoroughly maintained by our own in-house workshops, and our contracting services are scrutinised internally and externally to the highest standards in our industry. 

This means that when you work with us, you are in safe hands, and you join the hundreds of other companies that have had the Leiths standard of quality delivered to them.

People

Without our people, there is no quality. As family-owned business, we understand the importance of family values and ensure that those who work with us are happy, confident, and safe. We want all our employees to feel appreciated, and we are seeing good signs that they do:

• Our average length of employment currently sits at 8 and a half years.
• Over half of our workforce have worked with us for over 5 years
• 32% have worked for us for over 10 years 

This value and appreciation for people extends beyond our own workforce and into other key areas like the communities we work in and the next generation of our industry that we strive to educate and inspire. We do this in a number of ways such as our work with the Cove Community Woodland Trust, Charlie House, Business Foundation Apprenticeships, and our support of Portlethen Academy. 

Integrity

For us, success is nothing without integrity. It is a culture that has been cultivated and passed on through the decades. Our belief in integrity means that when you work with us you do not get what is easy, you get what is right. It means you will be respected and valued. It means we stand by our work with full accountability and if we ever fall short of the Leiths standard, we will be the first ones to fix it.
